INTRO
Hello Soul Fam! Welcome back to this channel where we do tarot readings every single Monday and Reiki-charged guided meditations and sound healings every Thursday. I'm Frances, and if we haven't met before, I'm so honored and excited to be here with you and share this space for our tarot reading today. We will be using the Four Noble Tarot deck, which I created in conjunction with Haley of Old Soul Supply. She did all the design and illustration, and it is sustainably made, hand-illustrated, with gold foil magic. The deck comes with a guidebook, which I'll show you. Sometimes in our readings, I feel called to read from this, but let me explain how I read if you're new here (though I know many of you are not, so thank you for being here).
I, of course, know the definitions of the tarot cards, but I also use tarot as a tool for channeling to receive the energy that we need to know at this time. That's how I wrote the guidebook, which is rooted in the sacred Rider-Waite deck's definitions, but also with the energy and definitions that have been channeled through me over the many years that I've been reading tarot. All of the descriptions are very light, actionable, and helpful. I find that some other decks can be a little heavier, making you feel like everything sucks, and you might wonder what to do with that information. In contrast, my cards' descriptions are honest but always provide a way for you to move through your situation in alignment with your highest good. So, just wanted to share a bit about the deck we're working with.
Let's go ahead and connect our energy here. Feel free to join me in this practice. If you'd like, close your eyes and take a few rounds of breath, working in the light and the highest good for everyone here.
Tarot Reading: Prioritizing Self-Care, Detaching from Unhealthy Habits, and Cultivating Balance
Alright, we have a card for us and an understanding at this time. Keeping my energy cleansed and protected, as well as everyone's here. Welcoming in my spiritual team and the spiritual team of everyone here for the highest good.
Now, let's see what we need to know this week. I may need to shuffle again if the cards split like that. You don't have to adopt this into your practice, but when they split like that, it means they're not in the order they want to be. So, I usually give another little shuffle. If they split again, it's just whatever's going on with the cards that day. They spread better on a soft surface like a mat, carpet, or bed, which is usually where I pull tarot for myself.
Alright, let's get that rainbow all set up. Also, a side note, some videos out there are heavily edited, which is beautiful, and I applaud those creators who make them perfect. But for me, tarot is such a personal practice, and I want it to feel like we are sitting across from each other at a table, which is essentially what we're doing now. So, I never edit out those little moments because they're real and happening in real time. So, just in case anyone wonders about the production quality, it's intentional to make it feel authentic.
Alright, let's dive into our reading. The card that flew out while we were shuffling is the King of Swords. This week's energy feels very fast-paced and action-oriented. It might make you feel overwhelmed, like your to-do list is racing out the door, and you're trying to keep up. It's not a grounded energy in your body; it's more in your head. To manage this, consider making lists to keep track of everything and take it one step at a time. On the other hand, the King of Swords might also be telling you to stop overthinking and just go for it. Take calculated risks and trust your intuition rather than your inner critic.
Now, let's see how to optimize this energy and what we need to know for the week. We have the Ace of Cups and The Hermit. The Ace of Cups brings hope for abundance and fulfilling desires. However, to achieve this, you must take time for yourself. The Hermit advises you to shine your light inward, spending time alone, and nurturing yourself. This self-care will enable you to hear your inner wisdom and identify what's not serving you. Embrace the divine feminine energy and care for your physical body and mind. This will help you uncover dependencies or negative habits that hold you back. Detach from what no longer serves you and prioritize your well-being to move towards a brighter future.
Thank you so much for being here today. If you feel called to donate to the love jar, I'll leave the PayPal donation link in the description. Your generosity helps me show up with energy every week. I look forward to seeing you again on Thursday for our guided meditation and next Monday for another tarot reading. Have a beautiful week!
Sending so much love and light your way.
With gratitude,
Frances
