Reiki Guided Meditation, Body Scan, Deep Relaxation
Welcome to this Reiki charge guided meditation, intended to help you fall asleep and rest deeply. Before you settle into your space and get all comfortable, please make sure you like this video and subscribe to this channel for Reiki charge guided meditations and sound healings on Thursdays, as well as tarot card readings for the week ahead on Mondays.
Now, go ahead and get all comfortable, lying down on whatever surface you are on at this time. Even if you think you are comfortable now, check in with your body. Is there anywhere that feels any sense of discomfort? It could be an itch or a little pain where you need to adjust your body, or maybe your clothes or the blanket are bunched up in a way that doesn't feel good to you. Perhaps your pillow is not as supportive as you would like it to be. Take a moment to check in and change whatever needs to be adjusted, so you feel fully supported and comfortable.
As you start relaxing into your space, the Reiki energy, this beautiful white light healing, restorative, and soothing energy, starts to merge with your body. As it connects with you, take three slow rounds of breath. One more time... Good.
Let your body relax deeper, deeper, deeper, feeling the support beneath you, around you, within you. Trust that there is nothing to be done at this time except rest.
Begin with a body scan, starting at the top of your head. Maybe even imagine the Reiki energy moving through your body, helping you relax. Let it move through the top of your head, seeing if you can relax your scalp, the back of your neck, and your forehead. Soften the space between your eyebrows, and let your eyes completely surrender, releasing any tension in the jaw and relaxing your tongue.
Now, imagine you can relax your brain. The right side of your brain starts to power down, followed by the left side of your brain. The third eye space softly, softly, softly relaxes, keeping the head fully relaxed. Moving down to the throat, allow your trachea and voice box to release.
Check in again with the back of the neck, creating space through surrender. Let your heart space soften and open, bringing the shoulders down with it. As the shoulders relax, the entire back can soften, starting from the top at your occipital ridge, moving through each and every vertebrae of the spine. The space between the spine softens and releases all the way down to the tailbone.
In the front of the body, let the ABS release and surrender, holding nothing tightly, but letting it all soften. Check in again with the shoulders, as they tend to tighten very subconsciously, and relax them again. Relax the muscles in the upper arms, letting your elbows release. Relax the muscles in the lower arms, surrendering space in the wrists, and move through each finger, starting at one of your pinkies. Count to ten, moving through each finger, and let it relax.
Now, again, move through the chest, through the belly, into the pelvis, letting your hips release, your low back surrender, and even feeling the digestion area in the lower belly soften. Moving again into that hip joint, see if you can create space, and as you move down, let the quads relax, the hamstrings surrender, and the knees soften. Relax the shins and the calves, moving into the ankles, and create space in the joint. Let them fall gently, releasing any tension in the feet, and relax each toe with a count to ten.
Let your body melt, soften, and restore. In this space of openness, let the Reiki energy help you sleep deeply, deeply, deeply. Knowing that you are safe, supported, and doing exactly what you need to do. If your mind begins to wander, bring it back to the relaxation in the body, remembering that your brain has powered down. There is no activity needed at this time that feels like you are putting effort behind it.
This beautiful brain will keep your heart beating, your breath moving, and your dreams beautiful as you drift off to sleep. If you are still awake, repeat the mantras in your mind's eye: "I am safe to rest," "There is nothing that I need to do right now," and "My body is ready to relax and restore." Healing energy moves through me gently to help me sleep.
Continue to allow yourself to surrender, to relax, to let go. As this video ends, you may continue to drift off to sleep. Have a beautiful rest, and I look forward to connecting with you again soon.
