Embrace Slowness : Reiki Charged Guided Meditation for Beginners & Daily Meditators
Welcome to your Reiki-charged guided meditation, intended to help you embrace slowness today. Your spiritual team, including your angels and guides, will channel through me to guide you on this journey, allowing you to feel safe in slowness. So, please find a comfortable seat, lie down on your back, or on your side and settle into your space. This is your first practice in slowness, giving yourself the time to just be. Begin to breathe deeply at your own pace, with each inhale and exhale, cleansing your body of stress, fear, pressure, anxiety, pain, discomfort, worry, or any other heavy feelings that may arise. Allow them to rise with each inhale and be completely expressed and released on the exhale. Always remember that Reiki energy is flowing to you and through you, healing, aligning, and raising your frequency.
As we begin this journey of slowness, bring your awareness and attention inward from your physical eyes into your third eye. Keep your physical eyes closed and your third eye open. Imagine in your mind's eye that in front of you, there is a beautiful forest or woodland area filled with greens, browns, and maybe a blue sky with colorful flowers and animals. Just notice this space in front of you.
Now, let's count backward from five to one. When we reach one, you are welcome to enter this wood. Five... four... three... two... one. You are now welcomed forward, seeing yourself moving deeper into this beautiful space full of life and slowness. This natural world around you does not rush or worry; it simply is. Walk through this woodland area, feeling your feet on the earth. Look down to see what's beneath you, look side to side to notice what's around you, and look up to see what's above you. Allow the energy of this space to fully encompass you, embracing you in its world.
Now, turn your gaze to the right and notice a small flower. It can be any color, shape, or size. Walk towards that flower and sit down in front of it. There's nothing to do and nowhere to be; simply sit with this flower. If you like, you can gently embrace it, not pulling it out of the earth, but rather exploring its petals, leaves, and stem with curiosity. Enjoy this moment of slowness, being with another being with no expectations, no pressure to produce something, and no need to be anywhere else. Just sit and observe.
As you sit in this observance, open your receiving and hearing channels. This message from the flower may come through your ears, third eye space, crown chakra, throat, or heart. Pay attention to any feelings, thoughts, aha moments, or mantras that may arise as you open to receiving this message. Remember, there is no expectation; we simply open to receive if there is something to receive. If nothing comes through at this time, it's an opportunity to sit in stillness, slowness, and presence.
If you'd like to stay with this flower, you may do so. If you feel called to explore more of this beautiful forest, please feel free to do that as well. Give yourself the freedom to be, to explore, and to play with no rush, just enjoying the experience. Whether you choose to walk, dance, climb a tree, speak with a woodland animal, wade in a pond, sit next to a river, gather rocks, or search for mushrooms, allow yourself to be present and open to any lessons, messages, or downloads that this area, your spiritual team, or the universe is sharing with you in this space of slowness.
If you'd like to remain in this space, please feel encouraged to do so for as long as you wish. But if you're ready to come back into your body with this newfound awareness, take one deep breath now, inhaling the energy and exhaling an offering of gratitude.
On the next inhale, come back fully into your body. Feel the oxygen moving through your physical vessel, and as you exhale, ground yourself into your current reality. Take a moment to come back into your awareness.
If you'd like, grab a journal or use your phone's notes to jot down your experience and any messages that came through during this time of slowness, openness, and presence. You can also write down how you can implement this practice in your day-to-day life. For example, when doing the dishes, notice the bubbles and how they feel on your hands or how rainbows are formed within them and seemingly disappear as if magic is the cause. Embrace slowness in each moment, knowing that things will get done, and the more present you are, the more capable you become.
Thank you so much for being here today. I'm sending so much love and light your way. I look forward to connecting with you again soon.
Sending so much love and light your way.
With gratitude,
Frances
